Bio –

Trained since an early age in oils and other media, I have always followed my creativity. It’s been a gift of expression for as long as I can remember.

Being a wife and mother of four has actually enhanced my work.  I learned to be organized and shared my talents with their activities (baseball billboards in the outfield) and I was always a entrepreneur.  I am an artist, antique dealer, crafter, designer, manufacturer and wholesaler.  And I discovered my passion for murals while painting my first mural for a friends office because it was just too sterile. Later could not help but love painting kids rooms when my grandchildren started arriving.  Therefore large mural art became easy for me to tackle in wanting to surround them at an early age in an imaginary world.

Mural and decorative art demand every technique I’ve ever learned, from oil painting to acrylics to watercolors to sketches to faux-finishes and working with the color wheel as well as my experience as a designer.  Decorative borders, a view from a veranda overlooking a landscape or a seascape, underwater fantasies – it’s always amazing to me and my clients to watch the layers in which I paint come together almost magically, with dimension and perspective.  A view you can visit every day!  I’m known for my color palettes, which are different for each project yet developed from early oil painting private lessons and  elements of design and art classes in college and most of the time use only different hues of 4 to 5 colors.  I am able to paint from travel photos, postcards, tear sheets from magazines or from my own large research library collected over 20 years.  I have painted 29 foot ceilings on scaffolding and incorporated several ideas together to run the length of a 40 foot wall, going from a landscape view to moving the scene in the art piece to visually be inside a structure.  I have painted in major metropolitan cities as well as small towns.  My art is a gift in many ways.   I love to share it,  I love the clients ideas of their inspirations, I love that I can bring that to their liking, I love to watch it transpire into the finished art, I love that I have enhanced the space visually within the correct elements of design. “Your Vision – Your Space – Your Way”
