Spoon Rest is what these were called in the 50's. A spoon holder would have been a shorter wider glass than a drinking glass that held the spoons on the table. But I listed it as both. Little Chef was an appliance manufacturing brand back in the 30's when this item was used. Celluloid was an early plastic mostly used for containers. I tested this two different ways to see if it was white bakelite, but I really think it would be categorized as celluloid. I am no expert but an on and off Antique dealer for over 45 years. It has some not really damage because it is fully intact and does not show from the front of the piece. But something hot got to close to the shoe on the right and it is disfigured some. I hope I showed this in the photos. Please contact me with any questions. This item is 6 1/2 x 7 inches.
